2008 Sarasota Camp

Dutch Soccer School, 2008 Sarasota Camp (Boys and Girls):

June 15-20:  Twin Lakes Park
                    6700 Clark Road, Sarasota (Florida)

Camp Features

  • Guaranteed top-level instruction in a fun learning environment
Dutch Soccer School takes pride in getting results, with players improving during camp. Players receive specific instruction and feedback throughout the week. The focus is always on the qualities that ensure fun and successful soccer.
  • Highly qualified Dutch professional coaching staff
Our Dutch coaches eagerly give instructions, ask questions, encourage players to make their own suggestions, provide examples of good and poor decisions, get players to show what they want to do, and demonstrate winning concepts themselves.
  • Outstanding coach to player ratio
Unlike some camps, Dutch Soccer School strives to keep a low player to coach ratio, ensuring that maximum attention is given to each camper.
  • Individual skills (Coerver method)
Dutch Soccer School coaches are well known for being experts in the world's finest soccer skills teaching method: the Coerver Method. All Coerver skills require a high degree of "Ball Mastery." Our intent is to challenge every player to improve their skills to the extent of their own ability.
  • 4 vs. 4 games
In the Dutch soccer vision, the 4 vs. 4 game is the cornerstone. These games provide the foundation for playing attractive soccer. Each player enjoys many touches on the ball, while learning to solve a variety of soccer problems. 4 vs.4 always provides lots of goals and excitement.
  • Game realistic exercises
We use game realistic exercises that incorporate every key element of soccer. Players will improve there insight and communication by participating in real soccer situations, and accepting the consequences of the decisions they make. Each phase in the learning process has special objectives. Objectives are always clearly explained.
  • Specialized Goalkeeper training
In the Dutch vision of soccer, goalkeepers play a very important role. They are far more than the people who stop the ball and prevent goals. They are integrated into the field and are seen as key players, with skills equal to the 10 field players.
  • Free Dutch Soccer School T-shirt
Every camper will receive a Dutch Soccer School T-shirt.
  • Beautiful grass soccer fields
Dutch Soccer School only holds camps on quality fields to ensure quality soccer.
  • On-Site Medical Trainer
First responder to take care of medical needs.
  • Cold water
We do ask that campers bring their own cold water, but cold water will be available during training and players will have enough water breaks to ensure their safety.
  • Player evaluation
Full day campers will receive a helpful end-of-camp player evaluation.
