We're excited to announce the first of a series of Dutch Soccer School Coaching Education courses! Henk Buikema, a top-level Royal Dutch Soccer Federation (KNVB) Academy Licensing Instructor, will teach the Dutch way of coaching. This course is designed specifically for coaching competitive 11v11 youth soccer. The course material is of Dutch UEFA "A" and "B" License level, unavailable anywhere else in the U.S.
The course material includes
- Reading the 11v11 game: Identifying "soccer problems"
- Creating training sessions to solve a "soccer problem"
- How to execute training sessions
- "Chalkboard" team talks
- Game coaching the 4-3-3 formation
Our course will include high level 14-18 year old players to play in the 11v11 games and demo training sessions. For two of the demo sessions, coaches are able to participate as players (optional).
Participants must have a USSF “D” License, or equivalent.
