Camp Features

• For competitive players
  At our Virginia camps we only accepts serious players with previous competitive soccer experience. Every year, talented players attend our camps and challenge each other to the limit, growing in skill and experience. A number of our campers have experienced training stages with professional clubs in Holland.
  
  
• 100% Dutch Coaching Staff
   We fly in our coaches directly from the Netherlands. Our coaches speak three languages - Dutch, English and soccer! They are not merely coaches: they are also teachers. Many of our coaches have graduated from a four- year CIOS College. At the Central Institution of Sports, coaches not only received their coaching licenses from the global leader in soccer development: KNVB (Royal Dutch Soccer Federation) but also learn how to work with, encourage and incentivize young athletes. Every camp group will have the same Dutch coach for the entire week. Our coaches will get to know each of the players in their group and can coach them individually, assessing their needs and improving the specific areas best for them.
   
• Effective Coerver Training
  In addition to the KNVB methodolgy Dutch Soccer School incorportates the Coerver Method, founded by Dutch coach Wiel Coerver. Former Ajax coach and current Dutch Soccer School Technical Director Hans van Zutphen had the pleasure to personally work with Wiel. In addition most of our coaches are Meulensteen certified. Current Manchester United Dutch assistant coach Rene Meulensteen has renewed the Coerver method, which all youth academies in the Netherlands employ.

  Dutch Soccer School holds it's Virginia camps on only the finest fields available to guarantee quality play and the best environment for learning.

• Unique camp competitions
  At the Dutch Soccer School our players don't just train. We also create games out of almost every exercise. Campers can win exciting prices! Beside the Dutch 4 vs. 4 competition with individual winners, we challenge our campers with camp finals in 1 vs. 1, dribbling, passing, heading, and shooting. Our objective is to improve each player's technique, insight, mentality and speed of play.
  

• Outstanding coach to player ratio
  Unlike some camps, Dutch Soccer School strives to keep a low player to coach ratio, ensuring that maximum attention is given to each camper.
  

• 4 vs. 4 games
  In the Dutch soccer vision, the 4 vs. 4 game is the cornerstone. These games provide the foundation for playing attractive soccer. Each player enjoys many touches on the ball, while learning to solve a variety of soccer problems. 4 vs.4 always provides lots of goals and excitement.
  

• Free Dutch Soccer School T-shirt
  Every camper will receive a Dutch Soccer School T-shirt.
  

• Cold water
  We do ask that campers bring their own cold water, but cold water will be available during training and players will have enough water breaks to ensure their safety.
  

• Player evaluation
  Full day campers will receive a helpful end-of-camp player evaluation.

Full day Camp Qualifications
Our camp is only available for the serious advanced soccer player.

- between ages 9-16
- on a travel team
- be prepared to train at a high standard!

Daily schedule
9.00am - 11.30am     Morning session
11.30am-12.30pm     Lunch and supervised break
12.30pm-  3.00pm*    Afternoon session

Lunches are brought from home by campers.

Full day camp: $ 245

Space is limited — Register early!
Enrollment is determined on a first-come, first-served basis.

Discounts
In oder to encourage team-mates to share the Dutch Soccer experience together, group discounts are available.  Groups of 8 or more campers qualify for a $20 per camper discount. 

We offer the same discounts for any additional sibling or additional camp.  A camper can only qualify for one discount.

Hosting
Would you and your family be interested in hosting one of our Dutch coaches? Be one of a few to take advantage of this wonderful cultural exchange experience. An exciting opportunity to host a coach during the week of camp exists for a lucky few. A financial incentive / camp discount as a host family is given. Cancellations and late registration
Your fee will be refunded minus a $10 administration fee, if you cancel your enrollment at least two weeks before the camp starts. Any time later a refund will be made for medical reasons only. Request for refunds must be made within two weeks after camp. Anyone registering fewer than two weeks before the camp begins, must first contact Dutch Soccer School.
